You probably already know Bardo Restaurant—heck, BK featured their brunch in our weekend roundup yesterday. Now, they’ve officially announced a new spot at the One Bangkok building.
The new space, Bardo Brasserie, is set to open on October 17 is a classic French brasserie with a modern twist, and it joins a preponderance of new and creative dining options at the One building.
However, you don’t have to wait for the grand opening. The Bardo Brasserie is open right now for their soft opening period, featuring steak café de Paris, chicken Milanaise, seafood towers, and more. The seafood towers are split into Juliette and Monique, with both sporting tabasco sauce—as god intended. Bottles of white start at B1,200 and red at B1,090.
While it is ostensibly French in essence, you'll find plenty of options here from around the Mediterranean, including a pizza menu ranging from your classic four cheese (B490) to a truffle pizza (B650) with fior di latte, cream, and wild mushroom. But don't forget to check out the steaks, ranging from the Bavette (790) to the big-ticket 1kg of Australian Wagyu tomahawk steak (B3,950) with two sides.
This new space is found on the ground floor and is a very colorful take on the brasserie; this is a space you won’t miss because the design, while being pretty neutral and friendly, is loud. You’ll find breakfast, lunch and dinner served here
Found on the ground floor, this latest venue is in addition to the brand’s Mediterranean bistro in Sathorn, which has been a mainstay for the neighborhood for quite some time.
Now, we have to spare a few words for One Bangkok, because, weirdly, despite some very cool restaurants, some still view this spot as one for office workers. They are very wrong. We’re talking Jim’s Terrace, omakase Japanese, and creative Thai spots.
