Ahead of the announcement of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026, the organization has released their list of 51-100 picks for the best restaurants in Asia.
Topping the list for Bangkok at No.53 is Baan Tepa, Chudaree 'Tam' Debhakam’s restaurant that has been all about sustainability and community and who also recently took home the Best Chef Award at Top Tables 2026 earlier this month. This marks a fall for the restaurant from last year, which took home No.46.
Also bringing in plaudits for proper Thai cooking is Samrub Samrub Thai at No. 67. Helmed by Chef Prin Polsuk, this spot has long been famous for its dynamic menu and focus on ingredients.
Côte by Mauro Colagreco, which took home the top spot at Top Tables earlier this month—as well as awards for service and Mediterranean food—ranked at No.91
Finally, two of the city’s best Indian restaurants took home the bottom two spots for Bangkok, with Haoma and Gaa taking home No.95 and No.96 respectively.
Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026 will be announced on March 25, in Hong Kong. It will be the first time for the event to take place in Hong Kong and will be held at the Kerry Hotel Hong Kong.
Last year’s Asia’s 50 Best was a big one for Chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn, whose Le Du grabbed the title of best restaurant in Asia, with other big winners at Nusara, Gaggan, Sorn, Suhring, Ms Maria and Mr Singh, Potong, and Jay Fai.
