Famed Japanese patisserie Henri Charpentier opened its first outlet at Dempsey Hill to much fan fare nearly two years ago, and now the brand's fancy, French-inspired desserts are available in a more accessible, Orchard Road location.

Setting up shop at Orchard Central, Henri Charpentier's second branch is an intimate space that focuses on offering takeaway options, with a handful of tables for those who prefer to dine in. Items exclusive to the outlet include the Hanjuku fromage ($2.50), a souffle-style cheesecake, and the Hanjuku fromage with matcha ($3). Other signatures on the menu range from the les financiers ($2.90), an almond and butter cake, as well as the popular strawberry short cake ($10.20).

Henri Charpentier's take-out branch is located at #01-18 Orchard Central. For more information, visit their Facebook page
