Blue Elephant (233 South Sathorn Road, 02-673-9353. BTS Surasak) is launching a new Pink Ribbon menu to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout October, Chef Nooror while be whipping up dishes with ingredients picked for their cancer-preventing qualities by Dr. Kris Chatamra from the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer. The five-course meal includes clear beef consommé, sweet potatoes flavored with Thai holy basil and sweet basil, India mulberry rib eye curry, and rambutan ivy leaf soup with soursop leaves. Available for lunch and dinner at B1,980. 

The flagship branch of the globally-known Thai restaurant brand is housed in a stunning colonial-style mansion with a classic interior of dark rattan furnishings and authentic Asian artifacts.

Chef and owner Nooror Somany Steppe and her team serve up royal Thai cuisine with authentic flavor. While more modern Thai restaurans have lately grabbed most column inches, Blue Elephant is still worth a visit for both atmosphere and food.
