The Studio Ghibli Film Fest kicked off over the weekend, and next week you can catch more of these movies by Japanese animation giants.
On the schedule are Castle in the Sky (1986), My Neighbour Totoro (1988), Porco Rosso (1992), Princess Mononoke (1997), Spirited Away (2001), and Howl’s Moving Castle (2004).
The films will be screening Nov 25-26 and Dec 2-3 at SF Cinema theaters in Bangkok’s CentralwOrld and MBK Center, as well as MAYA Chiang Mai, Central Khonkaen, Central Chonburi, and Central Phuket. Tickets start from B150.
For more Ghibli love, Central World’s The World of Studio Ghibli’s Animation Exhibition has been extended to Jan 2, 2024. If you haven’t had the chance to check out the exhibition, which launched in July and was originally scheduled to close in September, you can go to celebrate some of the most revered animated classics in the world. Regular ticket prices for the exhibition are B590 online and B650 at the door.
