After two years of serving authentic Russian flavors to the eastern bloc of Phra Khanong, The Moon Under Water has now moved to the more classy and upmarket Soi Suan Phlu in Sathorn. 

Russian chef Alesha Voronin has picked up his iron skillets where he left off, serving comfort classics from lamb-and-pork pelmeni dumplings (B330) and borscht (beetroot soup; B260) to bite-sized pancakes with salmon caviar (B460) and “Drunken Sausage” (B460)–rustic pork sausage cured with brandy and served with pickles and mashed potatoes.

In addition to dine-in, the venue currently serves high-quality artisan products such as kefir (B120), kombucha (B120), and some Russian tapas (B100).

The Moon Under Water is currently open from noon to 9pm (per current government diktat), Wednesday through Sunday.
