Scandinavian design fans can celebrate the arrival of Gubi, the Danish luxury furniture brand whose functional and high-end products give a striking modern twist to classic designs of yesteryear.

Presented by Norse Republics, the people who imported Hay and Republic of Fritz Hansen, the second-floor showroom on Sukhumvit Soi 49 offers an atmospheric and dreamy space lined with an eclectic mix of textures and whimsical, organic shapes. 

Revamp your home with stylish mid-century Nordic pieces like the brand's signature GamFratesi-designed “Beetle Chair” (from B66,900), inspired by the anatomy of a beetle, available in fabric or leather upholstery.

Also on show is French designer Pierre Paulin’s curvaceous “Pacha Lounge Chair” (B170,900), a legless and low-level chair upholstered in soft fabric that’s so comfy you just want to curl up and take a nap in. 

The sculptural “Multi-Light Pendant” (B56,900) lamp by Danish designer Louis Weisdorf is also not to be overlooked, with shades that can be rotated up and down to create different geometric shapes.
