What inspires you? Japanese cartoons from the 80s and 90s would be the biggest influence. I also get inspiration from novels—especially the horror stories of Steven King and the kung-fu books of Kim Yong.
Creating comics is like: Running or jogging. You often lose motivation and are tired. You question why you are you putting yourself through such a thing. However, when you get to a certain point—like when the endorphins kick in—you start to feel good. And then, once you’re finished, you feel great!

What inspires you? The desire to showcase my thoughts in the way that I please.
Creating comics is like: Creating a whole new universe from emptiness.
Name: Vachira Petmaneenilsai
What inspires you? Manga (Japanese cartoons), American hero comics and Hong Kong character designs.
Creating comics is like: Making a movie. A lot of people think drawing comics are a piece of cake. In fact, there’s so much to it: from bringing the characters to life to more specific details like figuring out the dimensions and how to make sure the story is easily understood. Like a movie, the script remains the most important component, followed by the personalities of the characters. When both coincide, I believe that a comic can deliver as well as any movie.

Creating comics is like: Composing and playing music. Both convey rhythm, substance, a story line and emotions.
