Wo!!! BBQ doesn’t deserve three exclamation marks, but it is an ideal after-work venue for suits and macho guys whose priorities are a good-value meal and strong booze, not ambiance. This minimalist-bordering-on-bare restaurant features only dark wooden tables, which are mostly occupied by Japanese salarymen, off-gray floor and yellowish walls. So it’s not the drab décor that attracts diners but its inexpensive version of a Hokkaido specialty called jingisukan, the equivalent of our muu krata. Even though it’s nothing out of the ordinary, you tend to leave Wo!!! full and happy.
