The buzz: Former Ice Bar totally redecorated into your average Thonglor bar.
The décor: Two stories, a tiny stage ,cubic stools and unmatched tables don’t exactly provide a lot of excitement. Next to the bar, the vivid red loo spices things up, as does the very commercial Moto Razr keypad hung on the wall. On the mezzanine, it’s back to yawning, this time on bar stools, sofa beds and with a bird’s eye view of the stage.
The music: Varieties music by in house DJs and live music from two bands nightly.
The crowd: Foreigners and neighboring office workers catching drinks after work. Ages 25-35.
The price: Whisky B1,000-3,600, mixer B50, cocktails B200-400, food B120-500.
Why you’ll come back: You don’t like crowds and you don’t need bells and whistles with your drinks. Shouldn’t you be drinking at home then?
