The buzz: A “reinvention” of the club formerly known as Speed—though patrons are getting flashbacks.
The décor: The first floor sports a gangsta’ flava’—complete with graffiti. The second floor is a bit more staid (and spacious) with comfortable sofas and an outdoor patio complete with chandelier. BLING!
The music: Consolidating its image as the only hip hop/house club in Soi 4, DJs spin mainstream hip hop tracks on the first floor and house music on the second. Take a walk when you need a change of tune.
The crowd: Heavy on foreigners and light on younger Thais. The bill: Whisky B850-1,450, beer B150, mixer B50-100, vodka, gin, rum B150 (glass) and shisha B380-450.
Why you will come back: Live football is on offer if you don’t mind watching it to the beat of American cultural imperialismand domination. Grab a bottle of beer and check out the new digs with your buddies. If you were around for the heyday of Soi 4, you might enjoy reliving the glory days
