Description

The buzz: The location of this boutique all-about-karaoke bar and restaurant stretches the boundaries of Bangkok’s city limits. But if you like variety this could become your next favorite haunt. This is the crème de la crème of KTV.
The décor: The 32 individually themed rooms are categorized according to the color and names of the six major continents. Three room sizes are available; large (up to 50 people); medium (up to 30) and standard; (up to 20). No smoking.
The music: Everything is available, from mor lam to inter, and titles are updated every week. If it all gets to be too much, retire to the restaurant area which features live music and professional singers belting out mainly Thai tunes.
The crowd: Early evenings see lots of families with kids and grannies. Weekends are heavily white-collar and upper-enders and a few nerds who like to scream their asses off. No tight jean
naew types.
The bill: B2,000-3,000 for a night (5pm-1am) depending on the size of the room. Chivas B1,250, beer B120, mixers B30 (KTV section) and B25 (restaurant section). Food in the restaurant B80-450.
Why you’ll come back: Aside from the primo sound systems, 42” flat screen TVs and comfy sofas, each room is literally an island unto itself “floating” within a giant man-made pond.
