Beauty in Uniformity

November 24th, 2006

It all began 12 years ago, when Indonesia’s then-president Suharto “invited” his guests at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to wear batik shirts. Since then it has been customary for the leaders from member and observer countries to don matching traditional attire for the group picture. (read more...)

If it weren’t for the inclusion of Caesar salad and clam chowder on the menu, Harvey would be a “European” restaurant—more French than anything else, with a few Italian dishes added to the mix.
