Taxi Campaign by Impiana Samui Resort & Spa
It’s believed to be the island’s first ever taxi campaign and Impiana Samui Resort & Spa initiated it. The activity started at 11:00 AM which lasted for about 2 hours last 8th August 2008. Approximately 200 cars participated where each one of them had their own goody bags containing a lunch box and Impiana cap. An album featuring Impiana Samui Resort & Spa was hanged at the back of the passenger seat. It was an exciting activity not only for those who participated but also for the staff as they do the giving away of the souvenirs. The guest of honor was Khun Pornlert, Asst. Director of TAT Samui together with the Group General Manager, Mr. Halim Mercian.
The resort has organized the said activity in conjunction to the launching of the newly revamped rooms. To reckon, the resort has just finished the refurbishment exercise which was announced completed last June 2008. Taxis are perceived to play an important role in the industry, thus the resort aims to build a strong rapport with them.
