Where to Have a Drink After your Workout
Where to Have a Drink After your Workout
October 12th, 2007After an intense workout, what better way to reward yourself than by pounding a few beers or martinis. The question is: where?
Aldo’s
You’ve been a good boy or girl and sweated out every toxin in your body at the very intimate and international Cascade fitness club. Now you need to celebrate. If you’ve made a new friend at the gym (or in the steambath), or if your personal trainer is a hottie, buy him/her a glass of Aussie red and drill in one of the otdoor salas.
Connection Bar
That was a nice Body Jam session at Q House’s exclusive Fitness First Plus. Now shouldn’t you lower your adrenaline levels somehow? Sit down to a glass of beer or whiskey (it won’t kill you) and enjoy soft easy-listening tunes crooned by ex-pop star Peach surrounded by 19th century British décor.
Glow
After the hangar-like vastness of True Fitness, you’re probably yearning for a little intimacy. Try to lie down on one of Glow’s sofa beds to relax your biceps, triceps, glutes, etc. after that harrowing workout. Drinks here could knock you out, but since you’re already lying down, who cares. It sure beats a protein shake.
GOD
California Fitness Silom is always jam-packed with the little soldiers of the rainbow troop. If you aren’t brave enough to chat them up in the locker room, sign up for a Body Combat class and buy your brothers-in-arms a drink later that evening at the gay superclub GOD.
