Award-winning artist Chatchawan Rodklongtan presents a series of paintings blending contemporary and traditional elements of Thai art to represent the uniqueness of our culture. Chatchawan is exploring what he calls “dharma conundrums” through the depiction of the life of Buddha and the three stages of life as described in Buddhism: birth, life and death. Through Apr 26.

Jewelry designer and photographer Thirach Rungrangknokkul captures images through stained glass in temples: Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Xieng Thong. The result is a combination of vivid colors and lighting effects that give the pictures depth and a semi-abstract character. The photographs are attempts at shedding light on the deeper meaning of the “inner self” as it is understood in the teachings of Buddha. Through Apr 30.

Siripon Sanjan and Somboom Sungkao collaborate in an exhibition showcasing the simple lifestyles of the North. Siripon brings to light the warmth and serenity of village life whilst Somboom brings the village’s environment and atmosphere into the picture by focusing on different seasons.
