Sports Bars

BAR@SIAM

Although they claim to be a regular bar, there’s a sporty vibe here due to the pool tables and the TVs all tuned in to sports. Until about 10pm, you will mostly find businessmen enjoying drinks with their mates and cheering for their favorite teams—a typical boys night out. Later into the night, young clubbers start to mix with the sports crowd.

THE CAVE

If you want to actually get sweaty (no, foosball and lifting pints to your mouth cannot be considered a real workout), why don’t you hit The Cave? They offer rockclimbing, which can go a long way when trying to impress girls, and it’s free! Sports freaks usually ignore the band on the first floor and stick to the TV monitors and pool tables on the second floor.

POWELLY’S BAR

We all know the Brits love to watch sports at the pub. Come do it here after work, with your mates, and enjoy beer with sensible prices and friendly hostesses. Heard that, guys? The pool is always free and happy hour lasts until 8pm. So meet up with your Anglo buddies and watch anything from golf to Formula 1 on the telly.

ROADHOUSE BBQ

Roadhouse BBQ is for those who like it big—from big plates with Yankee staples like buffalo wings to a big selection of drafts and micro-brewed beer. On the third floor is where the sports action is: pool, foosball, shuffleboard and a screen to watch matches. With the whole American vibe going on, you might want to go here for the NFL rather than Champions League.
