GGub
What: GGub is an offshoot of ML Rojanatorn na Songkhla’s jewelry line Narandha. Named after her son, Gub, who also created the scribble-turned-logo design, the walls of the store are decorated with sketches of her signature earrings, necklaces and brooches. GGub is all about those other essentials in life—leather shoes and bags. Their leather items are a total contrast to the colorful bling ML Rojanatorn designs as the shoes and bags come in plain black, brown, gold and red. While the shoes come from British brand TWICO, their leather sling bags are designed by ML Rojanatorn.
How Much: A pair of simple ballerina flat is B4,500 while a more elaborate patent-leather wedge can reach B6,500. Leather bags range from B12,000 to B17,000.

OnPedder
What: Die-hard brand-freaks who sneak off to Hong Kong for their guilty shopping pleasure will already know the name. Now at Gaysorn (where else?) OnPedder is literally a glass hall of glam with their well-dressed staff ready and waiting to guide you through their displays of glitzy shoes and bags. OnPedder is a “who’s who” of shoe designers with Marc, Chloe, Christian, Alexander and Stella all making an appearance. Collections of designer jewelry and handbags are also on the shelves. Who knew Yves could make such cute charm bracelets?
How Much: Judging by the brands on display, you can’t really be surprised by the price tags. Expect nothing lower than B10,000 for a pair of shoes with a handbag setting you back at least B20,000.

Rouge
What: Another one stop shop for designer shoes. Though Rouge came to town first, the brands on offer are quite similar to OnPedder. Well, if you’re going to open a brand name shoe shop, you’ve got to include Marc Jacobs and Christian Louboutin. Since it is not a flagship, stock changes less frequently, but it does give you the chance to get a 50 percent discount on a pair of Stella McCartney heels. Rouge is also a place for watch fanatics, with a wide collection of blinged-out Vabene plastic watches. Yes they’re made out of plastic and acrylics but expect prices to match those of Corum and TAG.
How Much: Depending on the brand and designs, the shoes start out at around B20,000. As for the watches expect to dole out at least B6,000. Head there now to enjoy their 30-60% sale promo until new collections come in.
