Gazebo Sukhumvit
26 Sukhumvit Soi 1, 02-655-2471.
Open daily 6pm-late. BTS Ploen Chit.
Located at the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 1 is this indoor/outdoor Moroccan flavored sheesha lounge and club. In spite of being a block away from Nana and within walking distance from the dump by the freeway, the place is both tastefully decorated and attracts a smart clientele. Serving up tasty tapas and cocktails the two distinct sections make it an ideal venue for both a quiet chat with live music and a drunken night of dancing with friends.

Glow
96/4-5 Sukhumvit Soi 23, 02-261-3007.
Open daily 6pm-late.
Just a short walk round the corner from the neon lights of Soi Cowboy you’ll discover this little gem of a club. Recline on their bedlike sofas while selecting from their extensive, affordable and well mixed cocktail menu. With regular and one off DJs playing everything from house to reggae different nights of the work there are plenty of reasons to hit the intimate dance floor. This place can get crowded but if you need a breather head up to the bar on the second floor for a birds eye view of the action.

Sin Club
Sukhumvit Soi 4, don’t bother calling. Open daily 6pm-late.
The name Sin is rather unfortunate considering this bar’s location but really isn’t a fair description of this surprisingly appealing joint. Smack in the middle of all the action in Nana Tai this pool lounge and rooftop restaurant offers a sanctuary from the seedy goings on around you. The open air atmosphere is enhanced at night when the fountain well and candlelight merge with the laidback tunes to help you forget where you really are.

Parkbridge
3/F, 5 Patpong Soi 2, 02-236-5008.
Open daily 6pm-late.
With Patpong’s latest addition, you might finally be able to admit to going there on the weekends. Parkbridge, owned and operated by four farang friends brings the concept of a posh Sukhumvit-style lounge to Bangkok’s girly-bar capital. Raised about 5-6 meters off the ground and encased in glass, this lounge/club brings together artistic design, a handpicked DJ line up and top-notch signature cocktails to the birthplace of ping pong shows.
