Gazebo is a piece of Morocco in Bangkok. Although you might not exactly feel like you’re on a rooftop, because of the colorful Indian saris draped all over the ceiling, you do get a sweeping open-air view. A combination of live performances and music off the decks keeps you entertained at this chilled out locale. Try their new and improved tapas menu: it has everything from Thai and Indian to traditional Spanish. Besides music and food, the shisha and pool can keep you thoroughly entertained for hours on end.

Phranakorn Bar

Phranakorn is an art gallery with an openair rooftop bar on the 4/F. The place is known to deliver good Thai food and mixers at very reasonable prices. You’ll be greeted with candlelight and easy listening music: a mix of bossanova, pop and English rock playing in the background. The place must inspire artists—considering that’s the kind of crowd you will find here.

Sky Beach Bar

Sky Beach Bar brings what they call the typical outdoor-bar in Berlin to Bangkok’s party scene. Not so much of a lounging-with-friends place, this sand engulfed venue is quite the contrary. If you’re into house music, half naked men and women, foam and kegs of beer, you’re looking in the right direction. Plans for an actual pool are in order, but for now, enjoy the pool flotation devices at this venue on top of the Fantasia Wedding Center.
