Q&A: Supassara Ruangwong

For a while forgotten, or remembered because of her incident with Tata Young in 2006, Supassara is now a Sahamongkol Film star. After the hilarious Ghost Station, she’s now back in Pongchayut’s latest flick, Baan Phee Perb.

How was the shooting?

It’s so much fun. We jumped into a water jar hundreds of times. Sometimes I felt like I was running a marathon.

What’s your character like?

I played Ta. She’s a nice girl, very caring. When someone’s in trouble, she always considers her duty to help. At the same time she’s a scaredy cat.

That sounds pretty challenging.

The role itself is not that difficult. But co-starring with talented comedians makes me nervous. They are so professional. When the director says “Action!” they suddenly start to improvise good jokes. Many times, I can’t come up with any and they have to help me out.

Have you ever seen a ghost?

No. Well… I’m not sure.

Memorable scenes?

I had to look at P’ Im (Achita Wutthinansurasit) while she’s licking P’ Jub’s (Ittikorn Sathutham) face and cry. I wanted to laugh, but I had to cry.

What kind of character would you like to play now?

A dramatic one. I love the crying.
