Pet Hospitals
November 21st, 2007Dear Mr. KIA: I’ve been living alone for quite some time, but recently a new member has been added into my lonely little family. I am now a single mom to a cute little baby golden retriever, Cookie Dough. Nong Dough is my pride and joy and I treat him just like I would my own human baby, that is, if I ever have one. Anyway that’s not the point. The point is, are there any fully serviced pet hospitals around here? I mean the ones that do more than just give vaccines and groom pets? I want to know if there are any pet hospitals that give pets the same hospital services we get: checkups, surgery, heart specialists and all that. I don’t wanna take my Nong Dough to small regular pet clinic; they are not good enough for my baby.—Dogs Are The New Babies
Dear DATNB: I’m so glad Nong Dough was brought to the right home—you’re female, single, lonely and animal-loving. What more can a dog ask for? Though the concern you have for your “baby” is heartwarming, it does seem a little creepy. I hope your doggy affection is not the reason why you’re still single. But good news for you, there are quite a number of fully serviced pet hospitals in Bangkok where animals are treated like one of our kind, so you can be sure that your Nong Dough won’t be called
by any other name.
Thonglor Pet Hospital This ultimate pet hospital treats your pets like royalty. There are special hospital departments for hearts, aging and dentistry among others, just like in any human hospital. The Thonglor Pet Hospital also offers a pet taxi service just in case your dog is a little too big, or too smelly, to be transported.
Kasetsart Veterinary Teaching Hospital Operated by Kasetsart University’s
