Paddy Pubs

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day here.

Dubliner’s

This Irish-owned pub is a little piece of Dublin in the Big Mango. Shrouded in a lingering aroma of fish and chips, Dubliner’s is ideal for a fun afternoon with your beer buddies. Sports fans: the study-like-mezzanine is your spot. If you’d rather shoot some pool and sing to your choice of songs from their self-made jukebox, then head to the third floor. Pub grub, as they call it, comes in abundance at Dubliner’s: pastas, pies, meat, dessert and cheese! This St. Paddy’s Day, take advantage of some great deals on beer: Guinness and Kilkenny, of course.

Jameson’s

This recently opened Irish hangout looks upscale and grand, going hand-in-hand with the 4-star property it’s next to. Besides the wood, the greens and golds and the posh leather chairs, Jameson’s has diner-styled booths with comfy bright red seats lining the walls, each equipped with a big arched shaped window to glance at the view outside. Kid-styled-stools and LCD screens surround the big horseshoe bar. This St. Paddy’s Day, get ready to indulge in beer specials, live music and freebees, both snacks and shooters.

Molly Malone’s

Old-timer Molly Malone’s (once the “The Irish X Change,” nee “Shenanigans”), stands long and tall along Soi Convent, and remains a favorite to meet and lunch with co-workers. Upstairs, you’ll find barrels as table tops with accompanying dark brown and green stools scattered in the center next to a bar equipped with a wide selection of beer. Sundays can be quite a treat at Molly’s with three lunch buffets (B300-350) to choose from. For St. Patrick’s Day, Molly’s has traditional Irish food as well as live music with a new band.

O’ Reilly’s

A whiff of wood engulfs you as you walk past the outdoor patio, through the big doors and into O’ Reilly’s. Unlike its friend Molly across the street, this pub gives you a more traditional feel with its tea-stained walls and old-fashioned chandeliers. Downstairs, on the checkered floor, there’s a bar and an elevated nook equipped with instruments for the live band. Upstairs, lots of seating space plus a pool table lined with what looks like movie theatre seats.
