Surprise: good, cheap wine does exist. Siam Winery has launched Mont Clair, its latest import from South Africa, crafted from various coastal grapes. There are three varieties available at B260: Bin 5 (Cabernet Sauvignon), Bin 6 (Chardonnay) and Bin 9 (Shiraz). Available at Wine Connection, The Third Place, Thonglor 10, 02-714-7548.

Real NY Style

Thin, 18’’ inch and foldable New York-style pizza has now arrived in Bangkok at New York Style Pizza. The Macy Jean (mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce) or The Pig (mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, bacon and mushrooms) are just some of their toppings. The regular 18’’ pizza is B470 and the 16’’ is B390. Just like in New York, pizzas are also sold by the slice.

Bonjour Français

The recently opened French and Mediterranean restaurant Aux Saveurs provides southern French specialties such as grilled cote de boeuf, pot au feu and duck liver terrine. The restaurant also has a garden terrace for customers who want to relax with a cup of afternoon tea.
