In Bangkok, a 20-year-old man dies in a dry ice container. Wisut and Sartwit, both 20, are having drinks in a small shop on Petchaburi Road. In the early morning, while waiting for a bus, two men assault them, and the young men fl ee into small soi by a dry ice manufacturing company. Wisut hides behind a water pump and Sartwit jumps into a box containing dry ice and closes the lid. Kampheang, 29, a staff of the dry ice company, makes his morning rounds when he spots a partly opened container. Inside, he discovers Sartwit’s dead body. Forensics say he was intoxicated by the carbon dioxide that is produced by dry ice.

1 FRI

In Prathumthani, a smart boar is found lending a hoof in a local shop. Aod, a 6-month-old wild boar was bought by Thongkarn, 32, the owner of a shop that sells tires, and raised in a normal sty. Thongkarn claims that after feeding the animal kao kar muu, it began to leave its sty and help Thongkarn by fetching him tools, like a trained mechanic. Many people come to see the smart pig and, despite offers, the owner refuses to sell his pig as it has helped his business.

3 SUN

In Chonburi, a 4-year-old boy saves his mother from a rapist. Sarawut, 30, an instructor at a rehabilitation center and Jiranan, 23, his wife, let one of his former students, Weeraman, 29, stay over at their home. In the early morning, Sarawut goes to work, leaving Jiranan, Weeraman and his son, Suthirat, 4, at home. Weeraman soon tries to rape Jirana but, as he is trying to pull her top off, the child jumps on him, hits him, bites him and screams for help. Jiranan manages to escape the rapist’s grasp, grab her son and run to her neighbors. Weeraman flees the scene.

5 TUE

In Nakhon Si Thammarat, a monk fi nds evidence of black magic directed at local politicians. Pra Surin, 48, a monk, discovers a hole in the ground next to his temple’s crematory. In the hole, there are pictures of four local politicians with seven nails taken from a coffin and many other ingredients that Pra Surin says are required to cast an ancient death spell.
