In Chonburi, a 51-year-old kicks down a thief after being inspired by the movie Chocolate. Nikorn, is lying down in his living room watching TV bare-chested, revealing his B55,000 gold necklace. Ae, 25, a temporary fi sherman spots him (and the necklace) from outside while walking by. He then sneaks into Nikorn’s house and threatens Nikorn with a knife. As Ae grabs hold of the necklace, Nikorn performs a jump kick just like the one he saw in the movie Chocolate. Ae falls to the ground, drops the necklace and runs away. Nikorn pursues him and yells for help from his neighbors. They capture Ae and take him to the police.

In Bangkok, a vocational school student poisons her entire classroom. Oh, 17, is a suspended student because of a fi ght with a classmate whom she’s jealous of. The 17-yearold buys three boxes of cake from a nearby market then sprinkles herbicide on top of each cake as well as in the soft drinks. She hires a motorcycle taxi to delivery the goodies to her classmates and tells the rider that he must take it to the girls only. As a result, 13 female students and 12 male students are admitted into the hospital. Oh is arrested and charged with attempted murder.

In Bangkok, a convenience store in the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Bureau is robbed. Police Senior Sergeant Major Washira opens the shop early morning and fi nds money worth B6,700 and fi ve cartons of milk missing. His neighbor from the restaurant next door says she too lost some of her sour Isaan sausage. She also claims that she has been robbed 10 times and that police are still unable to fi nd the culprit. The Metropolitan Police Bureau has no comment.

26 TUE

In Ang Thong, a Thai dog saves his owner from murder. Tawee, 42, a factory worker is on her way home when she comes across a fight between Toh, 44 and a local teen. She stops to ask if she can help but Toh believes she is taking the teen’s side. Tawee fl ees but Toh follows her to her house. Tawee is alone as he enters the house, grabs her and holds a gun to her head. Her 14-year-old dog, Ka, sees the incident and bites Toh on his leg. Enraged, he turns the gun toward the dog and fires two shots. Tawee begs for her life and explains that she meant no harm. Toh later calms down and leaves the scene. Ka is saved by the vet and is well and alive today.
