In Ratchaburi, the local Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) organizes a sexy coyote show. To draw a greater crowd to a public debate with parliamentary candidates, the ECT organizers promise a sexy coyote dance show after the speakers.

18 TUE

In Bangkok, two thieves use a New Year’s gift basket as a trick to get into a house. Jitra, 67, is at her home when two men show up on a motorcycle, claiming they have a gift basket for her sister. She is confused since she has no sister, but a daughter. She asks for the name of the recipient but they jump onto her, shoot her with a taser gun and drag her into her home. When she comes to, a few instants later, she begins to scream for help. One of the thieves rushes to close the door but a neighbor is already walking over to her home. Frightened, the two men race off on their motorbike without any loot, and even leave the gift basket behind.

In Nakhonnayok, two teenagers stab an online game shop owner to death when his wife tries to close shop. Ekkarat, 18, and Ped, 16, are playing online at a shop that opens from 9pm-midnight. Wanida, 42, the wife of the owner asks the youngsters to log off when it is time to close. They claim the hour they’ve paid for is not over yet and ignore her. She starts to rant about their attitude, which infuriates them. They pin her down and stab her. Danchai, 48, her husband, tries to rescue her but he is kicked, his throat slit, and is stabbed multiple times. The teenagers search the home for valuables before fleeing. Police later arrest them at their homes.

19 WED

In Bangkok, a woman drives in the wrong lane, crashes and refuses to leave her vehicle. Wichet, 33, is on his way to deliver ice when a car drives straight at him, in the wrong lane. They crash but the car takes off, crashes into more cars in that street and finally comes to a stop. Police and rescue teams arrive at the scene where Natwasa, 43, the mad driver, refuses to leave her vehicle and begins to scream and cry. She then uses a knife to cut up some documents in her car and purposefully wound herself. The police decide to tow her car to Thammasat Hospital with her still inside. Doctors negotiate with her but she clutches her seat and refuses to leave the vehicle. It was not reported how she was eventually coaxed out of her vehicle but she is now in the custody of the hospital and police.
