Girl Power!
Girl Power!
January 19th, 2008Our 15-year-old international school correspondent, Pancake, is back with another report.
Happy New Year, guys!!! I can’t believe it’s been, like, a whole year already since I started writing for BK.
That’s so sad about Princess Galyani. She did a lot of great stuff for Thailand. But at least she died peacefully with her family around her. I mean, look at what happened in Pakistan. I don’t really know much about that part of the world other than I have some pretty cute tops from India that look great with jeans, but doesn’t that just suck how they killed that Bhutto woman? Did you know she even asked the president there to protect her, but he was just like, “Yeah whatever, maybe after I finish trimming my 80s mustache”—but then he’s a general so what do you expect?
I think that if you have a choice you should always vote for, like, an actor over a soldier, because actors get to play lots of different parts, but if you’re in the army you always dress the same even when camo is not in fashion. Plus all they learn to do is kill people and maybe play golf but not how to make people feel better when bad things happen.
I mean, I bet Hillary could kill someone if she really wanted to. But she wouldn’t. Anyways, she’s really smart, and for someone that old she knows how to dress well and how to cry when you really need something. I’ve learned so much from Hillary, more than I have from any other women, except for maybe Beyonce and Gwen.
I wish we had girls like Hillary we could look up to here in Thailand, instead of all of these rotten old men. I mean, Juthamas is strong, but you can’t really respect anyone who gets busted, right? Then there’s Sudarat. I kinda liked her glasses, but it was like she was Thaksin’s twin sister or something. And Nong Bam is super-cute, but all she did was smile and say “Yes, Pii Banharn, whatever you say, Pii Banharn”—until he dumped her. That’s happened to sooo many girls I know! Too bad Jaruwan isn’t, like, younger or Dr. Pornthip healthier.
Let’s support women’s rights everybody!
