In fact, I think fortunetellers haven’t the slightest clue and are all a bunch of crooks. But before you jump off a bridge, here are some go-to mhor doos. I can’t be held responsible for their predictions but if you’d like to share with me the aftermath, you’re welcome.

Choke Fortune (3 Watchira Thumasathit, Sukhumvit Rd. Soi 101/1, 08-9458-3771.) Uses one of the most ancient ways to reveal your future, gypsy cards. Pay B200 and see the future. But don’t forget to call for an appointment first.

Sinsae Natthachai Leethananchai (3/F, Imperial Ladphrao, Ladphrao Rd., 08-1834-0583.) You can either go to Imperial Ladphrao or have this guy come over to your house at no additional charge. B300 for gypsy cards or palm reading.

CTN (125/3 Royal Saimai Village, Saimai Rd. Soi 15/1, 02-991-5553.) This one has a trial service for you to check out before going to the real thing. Basic fortune telling by phone is offered for free. If you’d like some face-to-face service, shell out B199.

Pakhawadee (Room 4-12, 4/F, Union Mall 54 Ladphrao Soi 1, 08-6771-5111. Open daily 11am-8pm) Using feng shui, physiognomy (ngo heng) and gypsy cards, she will read your omens for B199. Call ahead to avoid disappointment. She claims that she can speak English.
