Devil Wears Prada Ringtone

Devil Wears Prada Ringtone

December 4th, 2007

Dear Mr. Kia: You’ve seen the movie The Devil Wears Prada, right? I am looking for the mobile phone ring tone that Miranda’s assistant Andrea uses in the movie. I’d love to be abused by my phone, just like Andrea, and this ring tone is so awesomely annoying, it gives me goose bumps. I have searched the internet high and low but I cannot find a site where I can download the ring tone to my mobile phone. Can you help, please?—Bodo

Dear Bodo: I’m not sure if this email was meant to delivered to our Sexpert (sexpert@asia-city.co.th) but since it landed in my mailbox, I guess it’s my Mr. KIA duty to give you a response other than, “You need a good doctor.” Yes, I have seen the film. No, “di di di did dee” is not a ring tone any sane person would want on their phone—much less get the goose bumps from.

But anyway, this ring tone is a signature ringer for T-Mobile Sidekick phones in the US, which is the same mobile phone that Anne Hathaway used in the movie. Thing is, since it’s a pre-installed ringer you can’t really download it… officially.

First you can download it in both midi, wav and mp3 formats by simply following this link: http://dotnull.com/hofo/T-Mobile_Jingle.zip. The midi version is a bit more harmonious that the standard “di di di did dee.” For a more classic midi file, try http://www.howardforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=49758.

Or, if you’d like something a little spicier, get the dance remix of the jingle. Still annoying, but with a twist. We found 25 seconds of pure T-Jingle goodness on YouTube. First, you should go check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr4sanzEtog. If you like it, you can illegally convert that YouTube video into an MP3 by going to http://vixy.net/ and typing in the YouTube URL I just gave you.
