Be a Writer
Be a Writer
November 21st, 2007Dear Mr KIA: I have always dreamed of becoming a writer, and I have kept journals since I was old enough to put pen to paper. Now I really want to try out this writing thing for real. I want to be able to tell a story that will capture imaginations and compel people to read on. Is there any place where I can develop my writing skills? Of course I can write, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing to you, but I need to learn the proper way get me started as a novelist. Thanks! —Novelty Novelist

It’s the life of the novelist that’s not so appealing to me—you know: the late nights, long hours, empty stomach and empty head. But if that’s your calling then you can have my blessing.
