At Le Fenix, you have a choice of two: Flow—a revamped lobby bar that offers a selection of tapas and an extensive wine list with lots of New World wines or, for those of you who are daring enough to perform a how-good-is-my-hair-gel experiment, Nest Bar—a suave rooftop locale with comfy “nest-like” seating and an long list of original cocktails coupled with nuts (tom yam flavored apparently). Take your pick. Or better yet, get your wine weighed at Flow and head up to Nest to enjoythe view. When you’re done, head next door to Bed or Q Bar to shake it off.

They call themselves a pre-party hang out for a reason: a finger food buffet plus an all-you-can-drink buffet including beer, wine, shochu cocktails, wine cocktails and good ole sangria, every Friday night for B995. We recommend that you act fast and plan your start-of-the-weekend early because you get a B200 discount if you book your seats in advance. So start the night with a bang, get trashed by 10:30pm and then head onto somewhere else to dance away the alcohol and the extra calories.

Cheap Charlie’s

Sukhumvit Soi 11, why would you even call?
Cheap Charlies is true to its name, their drinks are definitely cheap charlie. Located in a little alleyway off soi 11, you will find lots of farangs and some daek inters sitting at the little wooden stall on the few chairs they have getting sloshed off cheap cocktails. Even though this place is small, it is established—known even in guidebooks. Why? Cause they sell their beers for B65! Be warned: people usually call it a night after this so-called “pre-game” session. No questions why.
