Bars to Embrace Winter

Bars to Embrace Winter

December 4th, 2007

A Garden

Tucked away in soi 51, right in the heart of Sukhumvit, this garden makes you feel like you’re just behind a British earl’s manor (with a little imagination). This weather makes the illusion even more perfect.

Al Majlis

Hidden in the middle of a residential area and part of the Pradu Spa, this Morrocan tearoom has a small yard and big fluffy pillows to lay down on while you’re indulging in their carefully selected wine. You can even hear the noise of little insects welcoming winter.

Be-Zeen

In far faraway Town in Town, this outdoor bar offers good food to the tune of folk songs played by live bands. And when you’ve had enough of winter in the countryside (or almost) you can always retreat to nearby Ekkamai.

Spring, Summer, Winter

Get literal and head down to Winter (the bar) after a nice meal at Spring (the restaurant). There’s a front yard in front of the restaurant so you can chill out (again, literally) after nightfall on some big pillows they lay out there. Then start drinking—well blended cocktails for the grown-ups and yummy chocolate (from Summer) for the kiddies.
