The buzz: Your typical Ekamai bar (dark and modern, house bands, hip hop) but catering to a younger crowd, who like the squeaky clean toilets and chilly four-corner AC.
The décor: One giant room with domes bulging skyward from the ceiling. Different "zones" are defined by furniture as opposed to walls: cube seats and low tables for chillin'; high stools and room to move in front of the stage; plus two "VIP" areas. On one side of the club is a pool table, which is transformed into a drinks table on weekends.
The music: Hip hop and dance music by house DJs, live pop-rock (two bands on weeknights and three on weekends).
The crowd: This place is a little bit more adult than Nanglen but not as old as Santika. Expect uni kids and recent grads.
The price: Whisky B1,000-14,000 (from Red to Blue Label), beer B120, mixers B50, cocktails B150. Nov promotion: two bottles of Red for B1,500 or two Black for B2,500.
Why you’ll come back: You're a true-blue dek Ekkamai/Thonglor but don’t like fighting for room to stand or a place to park your ride. (Parking is B100, but two mixers are thrown in for your trouble.)
