Home Sqweez Home

Home Sqweez Home is the first full-scale concert of Sqweez Animal (http://218.213.75.197/feature/q-sqweez-animal). Judging from hordes of screaming fans (well, i was one of them) that packed Zen Gallery, the indie duo could have thrown their concert at a bigger location. But the concept was an intimate house party and the concert was just that.

Kicking off the party were "afro-beat, freestyle" girl band Yellow Fang (www.myspace.com/yellowfanglovesyou) and Knock the Knock (www.myspace.com/knocktheknocks), one of my fav alternative duos. [If you have no idea who they are, i totally recommend checking out their mysace.]

"P' Singhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I luv uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Tweens standing behind me started screaming, so yes, it was time for Win and Singha to take up the spotlight.

I've been to quite a few Sqweez Animal gigs, but this is by far the best. The vibes was great. The crowds sang along to every songs the duo served up. And there were many guests jamming onstage from Yokee Playboy, Jeen Mahasamut to hiphop trio Buddha Bless, which spruced up the stage not only with their catchy tunes, but also witht heir signature red, yellow and green outfits. (yes, just like the traffic light).

So that's it. If you missed it, see for yourself.

Jeen Mahasamut, a.k.a. Saliva Bastard's frontman, a.k.a.Little Fox

No need for description for this guy. If you don't already know him, you must have been living in a hole lately.

Teddy, guitarist from Flure, battling it off with Singha.

Ping Ping, a DJ at Fat Radio and also a guest drummer for the night.

Kui Oui from Buddha Bless. The Yellow Power Ranger...

From all the pics, you should have known by now how much fun did I had. Who wouldn't liek cute guys who can sing?

P.S. Photos by me. (GG, shouldn't i get a job? :)
