"Dear BK, Bangkok is mapped as one of the gay-friendly cities and it tends to be like people describe. So, instead of saying old words like "Muang Thai, Muang Pudh" (Thailand is a Buddhist land), some may slightly change it to "Muang Thai, Muang Tood" (Thailand is the land of gay). (read more...)

Non-profit organization, the Lotus Flower Foundation which aims to eradicate child abuse in Thailand is looking to build their pilot rehabiliation shelter in Nondburi by next year. The shelter will house 30 abused orphans between the ages of 3 and 12. (read more...)

The Metropolitan threw a sit down dinner with ten Spanish Chefs concocting their take on new Spanish cuisine. As a novice in the game of highbrow events, blown away was this fresh-faced BK writer by the creativity and passion presented by the chefs in their food and demeanor. (read more...)

Graduation is always a long boring ordeal of listening to prolonged speeches and sitting through 2,000 names. But the “commencement” I went to last Wednesday was definitely not boring since the students were not graduating from hosh-posh universities like Harvard or Boston College, instead they were graduating from “Vodka University”.
