Does Thailand have no clue whatsoever when it comes to maintaining the public health and safety?

Hungry late last night, I decided to stop by at 7-11 before going home to grab some milk and yogurt. I headed to the fridge and took two cups of Dutchie and one bottle of skimmed Meji.

I got home, grabbed a spoon and about to stuff myself with dairy goodness before bed when I was met with a shocking surprise.

My yogurt was separated into layers of yellow liquid and chunks of curds. Think feta cheese in olive oil, only this one can turn your stomach over three folds.

Nasty.

I checked the lid and of course, stupid me for not seeing it, the expiration date was "180608".

A WEEK TOO OLD!

So I checked the other yogurt and of courseits expiration date was the same. The milk was a bit better. It expired only two days ago.

What is up with these people? Isn't "throwing out the expired goods" a part of their training?

There's no point complaining either. They won't give you refund or even acknowledge the mistake.

It's not news to us that Thailand isn't really one of the places to look for good examples of "Customer Service" but this one is beyond comprehension.
